pim? jam?

roomboom and i are catching up on The Office so we can finally watch season 7.
it's a slow go since we're both busy little bees, but totally worth it.
i'm finally connecting all the little dots.
and watching jim and pam's wedding finally?
so precious.
these are all from this tumblr that i just found this weekend and have been obsessing over.
she loves the office too.
more specifically, jim.
and i hear pam's pregnant again?!
we have so much to catch up on!

hope y'all have a good monday morning!

i'm only yours

it's been a longggg day.
french class, pottery painting, skyping, errand running, dinner making, [speculoos] cookie no-bakingflight booking, homeward bounding, night-time routining, and now blogging.
even though all i want is sleeping.

im far too tired for witty transitions, so here are some beautiful things that have been weighing on my mind:
from here
from here

from here
from here

that last picture?
it's a snapshot from Blue Valentine, otherwise known as the saddest movie ever.
it was beautifully done, but awful.
i sobbed.
literally sobbed.
don't watch it.

i also have no witty ending.
i'm a little sorry, mostly sleepy.
goodnight friends.

i'll love you with all the madness in my soul

mondays are going to be the best days of the week for the next 5 months.
remember how b and i made goodbye gifts for each other?
well his was a love letter with a little suprise gift in it for every week that he's gone.
they have the dates on the front and i'm only allowed to open them on mondays.
so naturally, the second i was awake and conscious this morning, i tore that thing open.
it was perfect.
i'm so blessed to have someone that makes me feel loved even across an ocean.

in other news, here are my thoughts so far today:

i found this here and it's breathtaking.
i cannot wait to fly to france, simply for the views from the plane.
i always choose the window seat.

Did I cry at this part the first time I watched it?  Maybe…
from 500 Days of Summer, also found here, this part is so sweet.

i don't have a pretty picture for this one, but go look at Ruche's lookbook.
themed around old country love and reminiscent of The Notebook, it's stunning.

lastly, something to think about from mother theresa.
this is my hope.

"Spread love everywhere you go: first of all in your own house.
Give love to your children, to your wife or husband, to a next door neighbor…
Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier.
Be the living expression of God’s kindness; kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile, kindness in your warm greeting."
have an enchanted rainy day!

p.s. the quote was found from here too.
it's the tumblr of a girl i know from school.
it's cute.
go visit :)

this ain't my thang.

i'm no movie critic.
i barely even watched movies until i met b,
and i still think all a movie needs to be good is if two people fall in love and i laugh.
not real hard to find those, is it?
but i'll pretend for a minute that my opinion holds some weight
and tell you to go spend the 10 dollars to see this movie now.
$7.50 if it's matinee time.
now that's a deal right there.

sunday, i went to go see Bridesmaids with my bff, max.

and we peed our pants.
seriously, this was such a funny movie.
these women are hilarious, the things that happen to them are out of control,
and kristen wiig's police officer boyfriend is a cutie.

go see it. now.
thank me later.

i'm such a girl

oh nicholas sparks.
you get me everytime.

last summer while b was at bootcamp, i read as many of his books as i could get my hands on.
now i'm going through the movies.

"the last song" has awful acting.
miley's calling is not be an actress.
but boy, did it make me cry.
there's summer love, a heart breaking relationship with her father
and letting herself open up again.

"He stared at her, knowing with certainty that he was falling in love. He pulled her close and kissed her beneath a blanket of stars, wondering how on earth he'd been lucky enough to find her."

"Dear John" is not the best story to listen to if your boyfriend is in the military.
i know that for sure.
but i can't help but love it.
there's summer love, another heart-breaking father relationship, and more heartbreak.

"I'm going to marry you one day, you know." "Is that a promise?" "If you want it to be."

last, but not least out of the one's I've seen:
"The Notebook"
holy moly, what a love story.
just more summer love, forbidden this time, and another happy ending.
or at least sweet ending.
(p.s. spoiler alert. don't scroll down if you haven't seen the movie)

"She was my dream. She made me who I am, and holding her in my arms was more natural to me than my own heartbeat. I think about her all the time. Even now, when I'm sitting here, I think about her. There could never have been another."

i can't get any of these pictures to be formatted the same when i publish the post as when i'm writing it.
sorry.
now to convince b to watch one of these with me.
love always wins.
