built-in friends

I'm sorry if you already follow me on Instagram and have seen this, but I spent a few hours with my little sister yesterday, shopping and doing our thing, and man, do we have fun together.
I was talking to Amy about it and we agreed that siblings are the perfect friends- they know you, they love you anyways, and there's no expectations. They understand you.

After time at my mom's on Friday night, when all 3 of us siblings were there with our S.O's, eating take out and playing Disney Scene It with our mom, and then yesterday afternoon with Jessa, I have to agree. Siblings are built-in friends, and for that I'm thankful.

Yes, my sister nephew are in route to my house now!! Life is so busy and sometimes we get behind on just being friends. Love her always though. Great post!

You are SO right! Siblings make theeeee best friends a person could ever want/need. I feel like I'm just now starting to realize this fully.

Aw, this is so sweet! My sister and I are 5 years apart so it was hard for us to get close growing up. Now that we're both adults and live on opposite ends of the country, it makes it tough to really build that relationship. Lucky for me, the boyfriend has two sisters (one my age and one two years older) and I've been fortunate enough to become really close to them during the 4.5 years we've been together. It's not quite the same but it does give me that sibling/built-in-friend feeling, too. :)

They really are the best! My sister and I are 6 years apart so we really just got really close 4-5 years ago. It really super sucks that she lives 10+ hours away :/
