home

this whole married thing has been wonderful so far.
first, we had 10 days of honeymooning, then 5 days of camp with my family, and then straight to moving in. and while moving in was more work than I thought it'd be, it was fun. I've loved making this place our home.
we've settled in, we've grocery shopped together, made meals together a bunch, hung things up on the walls, made a budget, cuddled up with beer and How I Met Your Mother. all that good grown up stuff.
and while we've done all those types of things before, this is our first time doing them to our home. this is the first time we've lived together.
so I've been trying to soak up all of these times.
there's plenty of memories that we've made in this new place that I already love, but I don't feel the need to blog about them.
these are our memories in our home and I kind of like having those secrets with my husband.

so I don't have much to say today. we're happy. I'm so happy.
this week was my first week back to work and i'm trying to apply to grad school before the deadline tomorrow, so that explains my absence here.
I'll be back next week with honeymoon pictures and stories, some camp pictures too, and if some decorations that I've ordered come in soon, maybe there will be an apartment tour as well!
thanks for sticking around, friends.

such amazing things are happening right now! Establishing you home with your husband is so special. When my boyfriend and I moved in together I was on top of the world. More than a year later, I still feel that way!

I love this. Congratulations! The whole "liking to keep things secret" is part of the reason I stopped my last blog. Some parts of the relationship are just too sweet to share. :]
