lazy Sunday [and Friday and Saturday]

Ben's gone for two weeks doing Air Force things, so I had the laziest of weekends this weekend. it was awesome.
Jessa slept over on Friday night and she took over Ben's role as house dishwasher. thank the Lord.
Saturday we had a small family birthday party. all 22 of us.
 me and my awesome Grandma.
so.much.food. and so many pretty family members!
 hiding uncle.
me and my brother's new fiance!
Aunt Marta, the pretty hostess with an awesome pool
this was a weekend for pen pals. Megan, Amy, and a girl through Elizabeth's brilliant match up.
I had a to-do list for Sunday, but it was one of those days that I didn't care if it got done. still don't.
I made homemade soup! roasted red pepper and garlic. such a housewife.
sometimes when your husband is away. you heat up the taco leftovers just so you don't feel as guilty eating a tub of queso for lunch.
and then at the end of the night, i had to do all the dishes. by myself. it was awful. i'm hiring a dishwasher, if anyone wants to apply.

and today, there's a run in store, some cleaning, plus work on a secret project. if we're lucky, I'll make myself more for dinner than frozen brownie batter from Friday night.

Hahaha I hate dishes, too! I do all this cooking and at the end of it all I regret it. It looks like you had a really awesome weekend, aside from the dish pile :).

Looks like great weekends! I am sure that you miss your man, but at least you have had some fun in the mean time! =)
