while i, as the new Mrs. Quigley, am away on my honeymoon and vacation and such, i asked a few of my favorite blogger friends if they'd fill in for me. they're here for a few weeks, talking about big changes in their lives, whether it be marriage related or not. enjoy! and girls, thanks again!
Hello lovelies! I'm Jessie and I blog at sweet little somethings. I'm so delighted to be here today! Jackie asked me to write a wedding-related type post for when she's gone doing all of her honeymoon things (jealous!!). I love Jackie and her cute blog so of course I said yes!
I'm not engaged (yet), but hoping it happens in the near future. My boyfriend Corey is absolutely wonderful and there's not a doubt in my mind that I want to spend the rest of my life with him. We both want the same thing, but it basically comes down to money. Ugh. Sooo until then I've sort of been unofficially planning our wedding, which has really just been gathering ideas and inspiration. Pinterest has been wonderful for that, here's what I've come up with so far -
The Ring - first things first. I'm sure I'll love anything that Corey picks out, but I would really love a vintage ring, or just a vintage-inspired ring
The Dress - I want a backyard country chic type wedding, so no long or poofy dress for this girl. I do want something classy, a little casual, comfortable, and of course very cute. Here's a few that I like:
The Ceremony & Reception - as I mentioned, we are going to have a backyard wedding. Which means simple & casual. I don't want a big fuss of a wedding, I want a ceremony & celebration with the ones we love.

oh my gosh that ring! the second one is my ring! well not really, but my husband took that picture to a custom ring maker and he made it!! i love all these wedding ideas.
